The best form of prosperity that anyone can enjoy is good health. Dwell upon this fact for a few minutes and work with me as I try and make it a bit clearer for you. If you have good health then you feel good, you are able to do whatever you want to do physically, emotionally and mentally. You are indeed prosperous! With this thought in mind, you are still able to do whatever you desire in life to become financially fit, are you with me? On the other hand you could be a billionaire and not be together mentally, emotionally or physically and it wouldn’t mean a thing because you could not enjoy the cash. So be thankful for the prosperity that you now enjoy and keep working for the financial success that you desire and it come.

You don’t have to give up on the luxuries of life just because you are watching our money. You can still get a massage, manicure, facial, pedicure and hairstyle without spending too much cash. You can get go on of the local schools to get all of these services. You will be paying half the price and in some cases you will be getting the same services that you once spent hundreds to receive. You will give up on the spa setting but your pocketbook will make you feel better about this. So don’t give up on the luxuries – be wiser and smarter with them and you can enjoy life and watch your bank account grow.

So, I’m in the process of doing my taxes and I just realized that doing one’s taxes is a great time to reflect on last year’s past decisions and see ways to improve. For instance, my business is internet marketing and I am really improving each and every year. Well, looking at my expenses for last year, I realized that I really have to cut back on my business expenses. For instance, there is no need to hire a web designer when I could use blogger.com to make my niche sites myself. In addition, there is no need to hire an administrative assistant when I could quickly take care of things myself. In fact, these services are just a waste of my money.
So, my goal is to cut my expenses in half and watch my profits soar. 2009 is truly going to be my best business year ever. I can’t wait and am very excited about my future. What are your business goals and how are you planning on cutting expenses this year?

Today, I started thinking about all my family’s debt and I got a little bit discouraged. I started playing the “what if” game. You know the one where you think about what if I hadn’t bought x, what if I hadn’t chosen this career, etc. Well, I soon realized that this was a self defeating pattern and that it was not helping my financial situation at all. In fact, it was only making the situation worse so I stopped – midstream. I stopped feeling discouraged and focused on the progress I had made.
I reflected on the fact that I am making smarter financial decisions every single day. That I have a business plan for the first time in years and that I am loving my life. I then felt inspired and not discouraged at all because I saw that my life was getting better and better every single day and that I am in control of my financial situation and it is not in control of me. What a blessing. Now, I sing, “Oh Happy Day” instead of “Woe me.”

Hey guys, Happy Valentine’s Day. I sure hope that you are and your sweetie have plans to enjoy today’s most romantic day of the year. If you’re on a budget, as most prosperity seekers are these days, I have a bit of advice on how you can make this Valentine’s Day special without spending a boatload of cash. Are you ready? Let’s begin.
<! Cook dinner at home. Fix your sweetie their favorite dinner. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy like lobster or steak. Instead, a nice bowl of chili served in heart shaped bowls garnished with cheese and sour cream can be very romantic indeed.
<! Forget roses. Roses are so out and quite expensive indeed. Instead, buy your sweetie a potted plant that you hand paint yourself. Not only will this save you money but it will add a bit of sentimental value.
<! Make your own card. Write a special poem or letter with your mate telling them how much you love and care about them. Really speak from your heart and let them know that you love them so very much. This will certainly warm their hearts.
In conclusion, it doesn’t take a lot of money to make Valentine’s Day special. All it takes is a bit of creativity and you can certainly warm your loved one’s heart and show how much they are loved. Happy Valentine’s Day.

Do you offer wonder if a site that is giving financial information is legitimate? Do you often wonder if you should take their advice or not? Well, I sure do. In my day and time, I have come across many ridiculous financial advice sites that were simply in it for the buck. They didn’t give a toot about their readers and were simply shooting off bogus scant information for the sake of ummm ad clicks. Well, here are some tips that can help you.
- Does the site have good information? I’m not just talking about one article with a bunch of ads, I’m talking about quality information that helps the reader.
- Does the information make sense? If the information makes sense then you may just be able to learn from it. On the other hand, if the financial advice, gives dumb advice like “credit cards are good because they help you and creditors are your friends” then run for the hills as you know this is total b.s.
- Does the information seem biased? If you come across a site like this, it is most better to keep on walking. The owner likely has an ulterior motivate for recommending something because they are getting a commission. Therefore, their review that seems a bit too “good to be true” just might be – so you may want to take it with a grain of site.
- Is it a new site? Although some new sites do have good information, the majority of authority sites have been around for a while. Therefore, watch new sites closely and let them “prove their worth” to you.

I was just thinking about what motivated you to want to change your financial future? Was it a book you read? Was it an inspiring story of someone achieving their financial goals and aspirations? Or were you simply sick and tired of being broke? Well, the thing that inspired me to work my plan was the fact that I simply got tired and motivated at the same time.
I became tired of seeing everyone else succeeding and my family struggling. I got tired on not having money to buy simple things or even take a small weekend getaway. In essence, I got sick and tired of being broke. All of these things inspired me to stop making the same mistakes that I made in the past.
I then got on a written spending plan and decided to pay down my debt. I have eliminated two debts so far using the debt snowball and I continue to make progress every single day. Now, I’m nowhere near where I need to be however I am no where I used to be either. So to me, I am making progress and that is good news for me.
What is your motivating factor? What inspires you to succeed financially? Please share!

Doom and gloom surrounds us about the economy and more and more people are falling into the trap of “whoa me”. Although it is tempting to fall into this mentality, I challenge you to stay ahead of the game, to take control of your own financial situation and to NOT let negativity keep you from reaching your goals. Yes, employers are cutting back. Yes, the mail is only going to be delivered 5 days a week instead of 6. Well, instead of complaining adjust.
Do what you can to get where you want. If you have to get a part time job to bust debt and make ends meet then by golly get that part time job. If you have to cut back to save money so that you can get ahead then do it. Just stop complaining and don’t give into economic recessionitis. Just don’t do it. You have so much to give and you can achieve prosperity if you take control and do something about your personal situation.
Yes, it is easier to give up and complain and harder to do something about it. I challenge you right now to not take the easy route and actually do something to change your situation now, instead of waiting for someone else to do it for you.

Well, the month is coming to an end and I just wanted to chime in and see how you are doing with your new year’s resolutions. By now, most people have given up on their quest to be financially free, skinner, healthier, a better spouse, whatever. If this is you, I’m here to tell you that you absolutely can’t give up. Yes, keeping a resolution isn’t exactly easy but it is so worth the effort. If you’ve fallen off the bandwagon now is the time to get back on it. Now is the time to take control of that New Year’s Resolution and make it come true.
Take me for instance, one of my new years resolutions is to pay off 3 or more credit cards this year and I intend to stick to my goals. Yes, sometimes it seems like difficult task but I truly believe that if I stick to it, I can definitely make my goals a reality. How about you?
