Cash4Gold Not a Scam

A few weeks ago, I posted a message about Cash4Gold as being a good way to make some extra money online and you know what, I stand by my initial post. In case you don’t know, Cash4Gold is a refinery that purchases unwanted  gold for cash. The process is fairly easy to use. You visit their website and order your Gold Miner Pack, they send it to you and you send the items back in an insured envelope (you’re insured for up to 100 – just make sure that you have proof that you sent it in). I personally suggest taking a picture of yourself at the mailbox dropping it in the box.

Anyway, I did this – sent in a few mismatched earrings and a gold ring and I got $59. Not  bad for stuff that was sitting in my jewelry box. I then took that $59 and hired a designer to build me a blog, monetized it that is averaging about a buck a day already.  I do believe this will pick up once I start advertising it heavily. Not bad investment, right?

So, I suggest that you give Cash4Gold a try if you want some fast cash.

Has the American Dream Become Your American Nightmare?

All my life I was taught that anyone, regardless of their creed or nationality could obtain the American Dream.  The dream of the nice 3-4 bedroom house, white picket fence, 2-3 luxury cars, if they wanted it bad enough. What I am now realizing is that you can’t just want it bad enough, you have to work to get it and make smart financial decisions.  That is, you can’t just buy a house simply because you think you can afford it one day or because your best friend bought a house and you want to keep up with him. Heck, you can’t just keep up with the Joneses – the Joneses are just as broke as the next person. They make bad financial decisions because they think they “deserve all sorts of things.”

The only thing you deserve is to not be in debt. Financial stupidity is what got us all in the mess we’re in now - making bad financial decisions based on the “American Dream”. Right now, people are waking up from this “American dream” and realizing that they are living the “American Nightmare”. They have houses they can’t afford, they have mountains of credit and unsecured debt and they see no way out.

Well, I am here to tell you that living beyond your means will keep you in this nightmare state. Instead, we need to wake up, focus on paying down our debt and living below our means. Only then will we stop suffering from this nightmare.

So, if you have to live in a studio apartment and pay rent for awhile – so be it. If you have to shop at Aldi and other discount stores then so be it. If you have to take the bus or drive a beater then so be it. If it means not keeping up with the Joneses -so be it.

In essence, living the American Dream means squashing debt like no body’s business so that you can live the American Dream and not the American nightmare.

Online Tutoring – A Way to Make Cash and Help Others

Do you have knowledge that you would like to share? Do you want extra money? If so, consider online tutoring. Whether you’re a current or retired educator or simply that loves sharing their knowledge with others, online tutoring might very well be a great way for you to make cash. Such companies like Brainfuse, Sylvan Online and others hire tutors every day. The hours are flexible and the hourly rate varies. However, most online tutors make between $8-$12 per hour.

Not bad right? I certainly don’t think so. Especially for doing fun work like helping students improve their scores. The process is typically like this, you submit your resume and application and then take a series of tests for those subjects you’re interested in. You may even have to undergo a background check as you’ll be typically dealing with young children.

If this sounds fun, I suggest you look into this incredible money making opportunity. Good luck.

Is Completing Offers A Scam?

I’ve been wanting to try the whole completing offer thing for a while now and since I actually had a bit of  extra time, I gave it a shot and here’s what I found out, it isn’t really a scam but it isn’t for me. Here’s why. I could make a lot more money doing other online activities like writing, blogging, affiliate marketing etc. However, I do see how some people could make money completing offers.

Here are some tips I learned:

Sign up with a reputable company. The ones I tried were Send Earnings, CashCrate and GangsterGreed and these were fine and actually paid.

Use a separate email address. If you use your regular email address, you will be sorry. Therefore, use a separate email address because you will receive spam mail.

Only sign up for free offers. Although the free offers don’t pay as much as the ones that you have to pay for, they are a bit less of a headache. With the paid ones, you have to remember to cancel or you will be charged. In addition, with the paid ones, you’ll need to use prepaid credit card.

Good luck.

Keys of Successful Small Business Owners

I read somewhere that 50% of all small businesses will succeed and the other half won’t. Why is this?  What is it that sets some small business owners apart from others who simply can’t make it work? Do they have a magic formula?  I think that they have certain success characteristics that propel them forward and guarantee that their businesses will suceeed. In essence, successful small business owners :

  • Are prepared to do it all. Owning your own business requires specific skills. Successful business people are knowledgeable about marketing, accounting, etc. In fact, many of them happily |complete mundane tasks as well as more specified tasks as well.
  • They think prosperity and not lack. They are committed to exceeding their financial income goals and realize that prosperity is coming to them as a reward for their effort.
  • They may have times of self doubt but they get past the doubt and take action.
  • Successful small business owners are innovative and are the driving force behind their momentum. They work hard to accomplish their goals and do what needs to be done to make things happen.
  • They are energetic, open minded and enjoy taking calculated risks.
  • They have a sense of confidence and strong self esteem without being arrogant.

Tips to Avoid Work at Home Scams

Have you ever been taken for a work at home scam? Well, I have been at this for over 10 years and unfortnately I have had my share of scams.  And, I am hoping that you can learn from my mistakes.

After all, it is possible to make money from the internet bt you absolutely must be careful so that you avoid scams .

Here are some tips:

  1. If it sounds to good to be true it probably is. Yes, if someone is offering you 1 million dollars a year for working 2 hours a day with no skills required then this is likely a hoax or scam opportunity. So, steer clear of it altogether.
  2. Practice due diligence. Do your research about the company before you apply for them. Simply Google the name of the company and see if any complaints have been filed. In many instances, you will find that other people have been “taken advantage of by xyz company” and if that is the case be very leery. In addition, you can check the Better Business Bureau to make sure that no complaints have been filed against them.
  3. Get a written contract. Although these can be difficult to enforce, especially for telecommuting workers, reputable companies will in fact offer you a contract if you work with them.
  4. Never pay for a job. Reputable companies will never charge you for a job. Now, they may charge administrative costs, like a background check, you won’t have to pay to work there. If you are asked to pay an initial start up fee, you should be especially leery of doing this.

In conclusion, work at home scams do exist however you can avoid them if you follow the above mentioned tips. Good luck prosperity seeker.

Get Paid to Programs - Yes or No?

Many of you may be wondering if you can actually make money with get paid to programs. My answer is “yes” you can make some money but the effort that you put into them isn’t typically worth it. Well, at least, it wasn’t for me. I can be honest however. I really only tried a few and then I got really frustrated with the progress.

The reason why is because many of them required you to fill out a ton of offers and most of those offers requested even more information from you. Soon I found myself bombarded with spam mail. Here are my tips (if you decide to go this route):

  • Choose a reputable Get paid to company like Cashcrate.com. They always pay members on time.
  • Use a separate email account when filling out offers. Make sure that you do not use your primary email, phone number or address when filling out offers. If you do, you will be bombarded with junk mail. I guarantee it.
  • Use a prepaid Visa or Mastercard. OK this one is huge. Make sure that you use a prepaid credit card for filling out offers. This way, you won’t have to worry about companies getting hold of your personal information and billing you for unauthorized purchases.Make sure you cancel offers before requested time. If you don’t, you will get charged for them. Trust me.

In conclusion, I don’t think you can get rich with get paid to programs but you can make some extra money to add to your debt reduction planate help you pay off your debt sooner.

Mystery Shopping - Yes or No?

Have you ever considered mystery shopping to make money. Well, I am here to tell you that mystery shopping can be a fun way to make a bit of cash, but I honestly don’t think that you will get rich conducting mystery shops. Now you may get a free meal, gas or a cool gadget for your services but you won’t get rich. How do I know? Because I have conducted various mystery shops in the past and what I learned s that they are NOT steady income.

Here’s how it works. You sign up for a bunch of companies, fill out your profile, availability, interest etc and they contact you when they have a mystery shop that you’re interested in. You are then required to attend the shop, following certain guidelines and carefully observe the staff’s behaviors. You evaluate them for timeliness, professionalism, appearance, etc. Then, you complete a written report of your findings. Once your report has been approved, you get paid. The pay ranges from $20.00 and up!

If you were required to purchase an item as part of the mystery shop,  you may be able to keep it. However, you may be required to send it back. It all depends on the company. Now using this, I have gotten tons of free meals, clothing items and even movie passes. What I haven’t gotten is rich based on this method alone.

So, if you’re looking for a bit of cash, give mystery shopping a try. You may be pleasantly surprised.

Accolades to an internet marketer who paid off her debt

Guess what. Can you believe that someone named Amy Bass just paid off a huge amount of debt in only 21 months. 21 months folks not years. She paid off over 69,000 in 21 months. Did she rob a bank? Of course not. She did it using good common sense and a ton of hard work and effort. That’s right. Amy Bass used internet marketing to accomplish her goals and I truly believe that you can too.

Basically Amy got sick and tired of being sick and tired. She decided to put her time and effort into working an online business and she created http://www.mydebtfreegoal.com . It is a great site that offers advice on internet marketing, debt reduction and living a happy, healthy and prosperous life.

The journey wasn’t always easy for Amy. In fact she often worked 12-18 hour days but she did it and my hat goes off to Amy and her family. Hopefully all of us, prosperity seekers, will use Amy as an example that was can all become debt free if we put our hearts and minds to the task and use our God given talents to make our dreams a reality.
