Published by kpcwriting at 6:59 am under Debt Edit This

If you’ve ever wondered if there are easy ways to get out of debt, I’m here to tell you that the answer is “no.” Just like it isn’t easy succeeding at a diet, it isn’t easy to get out of debt easy. Now many marketers that are tooting expensive debt reduction books and such will tell you just how easy it is, but they’re lying to you. Getting out of debt takes hard work and effort. It takes sacrifice day in and day out. It takes courage and discipline. In essence, getting out of debt is hard.

If it were easy then no body would be in debt. Not you, not your friends or colleagues, no one. There are some ways to make the job of getting out of debt easier.

1. Develop a win-win attitude. If you believe that you can get out of debt, you will. If you believe that you can achieve your goals by working hard and sacrificing to make your dreams a reality, you will. In essence, you have to feel at your inner core that you can win - no matter what.

2. Stop overspending. Get on a written plan and apply all extra money to debt reduction. Get serious about squashing debt and stay on your plan. Don’t let frivolous purchases steal your financial freedom and joy.

3. Apply your knowledge. Learn about finance and apply your knowledge to improve your financial situation. After all, you can’t expect to be a property seeker if you don’t learn the basics. So learn all you can and apply that knowledge.

4. Set a goal and make it happen. Yes, you have to set realistic goals to make them happen. You have to sacrifice and you have to do what it takes to pay down debt.

These are good tips. Although I loove to shop, I am very frugal. I hit the clearance racks and sometimes clip coupons for restaurants. I credit cards are what causes a lot of debt for most people. I try to only use it here or there. I keep telling myself that I’ll have to pay it off so what’s the point of using it all of the time.
