I have to say that all of the many years in my pursuit of higher education, I have learned three things: (1) Stop accumulating debt (2) Pay off your debt and (3) Pay for everything with cash. I didn't have to take out any student loans for this piece of knowledge. So, where am I now? I am working my way out of debt which over 80% is student loans and the other 20% will be paid off by July 2009. If I knew then what I know now...I am almost positive I would not have pursued a graduate degree. I concur.
